This Privacy Policy explains how Dezctop collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our U.S. website at dezctop.com (the “Website”), and the choices and rights you have. Please read it carefully.

1. Who We Are

The Website is operated by Geminis T Inc, a California corporation doing business as Dezctop (“Dezctop”, “we”, “us”, “our”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@dezctop.com.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process when you browse the Website, create an account, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, use the website chat or contact customer service. Third-party websites and services linked from the Website (for example, payment providers and social media platforms) are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

• Account information: name, email address, password, phone number, address, and birthday and gender (if provided).
• Order information: billing and shipping name, phone number, email address, shipping and billing address, company name (if provided), items purchased and amounts.
• Customer service: messages, images and attachments you send us by email, website chat, Facebook Messenger or Instagram.
• Reviews: nickname, rating, review text and photos.
• Newsletter: email address and subscription preferences.

Information we collect automatically

• Device and connection information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and approximate location (country, state or city).
• Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, website events such as adding to cart and checkout, referring URL and ad click identifiers.
• Identifiers stored in cookies and browser storage (see Section 5).

Information from third parties

• If you sign in with Google, the email address and account ID Google provides to us.
• Payment results from our payment provider (for example, payment status, transaction ID and payment method), not your full card number.

Payment card information: Card numbers and other payment credentials are collected and processed directly by Stripe (and, if you choose them, by the buy-now-pay-later provider). We do not receive or store your full card number.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To process orders, payments, shipping, returns and warranty claims, and to calculate sales tax.
• To create and manage your account and provide customer service.
• To send you newsletters, offers and promotions when you have subscribed, and to measure and improve our advertising.
• To analyze Website traffic and improve the Website and our products.
• To operate and secure the Website, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website uses cookies and browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). Essential cookies are required for the Website to work. You can turn functional, analytics and advertising cookies on or off at any time via “Cookie Setting” at the bottom of any page. A cookie banner is shown on your first visit.

Durations of third-party cookies are each provider’s defaults and may change. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work.

6. Advertising and Analytics Partners

The following services are used only when you allow the corresponding category in “Cookie Setting”:

• Google Analytics (Analytics): loaded through Google Tag Manager to analyze page events, device information and cookie identifiers.
• Google Ads (Advertising): measures ad conversions; when you allow advertising cookies, this may include your email address, phone number, name and address, which the Google tag hashes with SHA-256 before sending.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Advertising): your browser loads the Meta Pixel, which uses the _fbp and _fbc cookies and sends events such as page views and purchases. When a payment succeeds, our server also sends the purchase event through the Meta Conversions API, including SHA-256 hashed email address, phone number, name, city, state, ZIP code and country, as well as IP address, browser information (User-Agent), order value and items, and the _fbp/_fbc identifiers.
• OpenAI Measurement Pixel and Conversions API (Advertising): measures the performance of our ads on ChatGPT.
  • Your browser loads the OpenAI Measurement Pixel from bzrcdn.openai.com, which sets the first-party cookies __oppref (ad click identifier, 30 days) and __obref (browser identifier, 365 days) on our Website.
  • The Pixel sends these Website events: page views, product views, add to cart, remove from cart, cart views, product list views and selections, 3D model views, checkout started, purchases, sign-ups, sign-ins and newsletter subscriptions.
  • When a payment succeeds, our server also sends the purchase event through the OpenAI Conversions API, including SHA-256 hashed email address, phone number, name and customer ID, as well as city, state, ZIP code, country, IP address, browser information (User-Agent), order value and items, and the __oppref and __obref identifiers.

Hashing is a one-way transformation; partners can only use the hashed values to match against data they already have and cannot reverse them. If you do not allow advertising cookies, none of the advertising data above — including the server-side Conversions API events — is sent.

7. Website Chat and AI Customer Service

• Automated replies in the website chat are generated by Claude, an artificial intelligence model provided by Anthropic. When you chat with the AI, you are not talking to a human.
• Before a message is sent to the AI, our software removes names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses and amounts, and replaces order numbers with placeholders.
• Chat conversations are recorded and stored in our systems so that our customer service team can follow up, improve our service and handle disputes. By using the chat, you acknowledge this recording.
• You can ask to be transferred to a human agent at any time.

8. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as needed for the purposes in Section 4 with:

• Cloud hosting: Amazon Web Services (Website, database, file storage and email delivery).
• Payments and tax: Stripe (card payments, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, Cash App, sales tax calculation with Stripe Tax), and Affirm or Klarna if you choose to pay with them.
• Fulfillment: YQN (U.S. warehouse) and shipping carriers such as FedEx and UPS, which receive the recipient’s name, phone number and address.
• Google: Google Sign-In, Google Maps Platform (address autocomplete and validation), Google Analytics, Google Ads, YouTube embedded videos, Google Cloud Translation (review translation), and Google Merchant Center (displaying public review nicknames, ratings and text in shopping ads).
• Advertising partners: Meta and OpenAI (see Section 6).
• Customer service: Anthropic (AI replies, see Section 7), Meta (Facebook Messenger and Instagram messages) and Microsoft 365 (customer service email).
• Legal requirements: courts, law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• Business transfers: a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your consent: other parties you ask or allow us to share with.

Under some state privacy laws, allowing advertising partners such as Meta, Google and OpenAI to collect information through our Website for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out at any time by turning off advertising cookies in “Cookie Setting” (see Section 12).

9. International Data Transfers

Our Website and database are hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United States (US West, Oregon). Some of our service providers may process your information in other countries where they or their servers are located.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed:

• to provide the services you requested (for example, while your account is active, and for order processing and warranty);
• to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations (for example, transaction records); and
• to resolve disputes and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Website chat conversations are kept for 3 years. Conversations with us via Facebook Messenger or Instagram are kept in our customer service system and also by those platforms under their own policies; we do not set a fixed retention period for them, and we delete them once they are no longer needed (for example, when your request has been resolved and there is no dispute). You may ask us to delete them at any time.

When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it. If that is not immediately possible (for example, because it is stored in backups), we store it securely and isolate it from further use until deletion is possible.

11. Security

• The entire Website is served over HTTPS.
• Account passwords are stored using one-way hashing; we cannot see your password.
• Access to our systems and database is restricted to personnel who need it.
• Card numbers are handled directly by our payment providers and never touch our servers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Rights of California and other U.S. state residents. Depending on where you live and whether the law applies to us, you may have the right to:

• know or access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of information, sources, purposes and recipients;
• request deletion of your personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising;
• obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format; and
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to exercise your rights: email us at support@dezctop.com from the email address associated with your account or order and tell us which right you want to exercise. Our customer service team will verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. You can also update some account information yourself in your account. Members can also download a copy of their data (account, addresses, orders, reviews, coupons, subscriptions, cart and website chat history; LINE, Messenger and Instagram conversations are not included) themselves under “Privacy & data” in the member center.

Deleting your account yourself: Members can also request deletion of their account under “Privacy & data” in the member center. You will need to verify your identity again and click the confirmation link we email to the address on your account. After you confirm there is a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel at any time; when it ends, your account, addresses, cart, personal coupon codes, subscription settings and website chat history are deleted and cannot be recovered. Once you confirm, we stop sending you marketing emails. As a legal retention exception, we keep order and invoice records that the law requires us to retain (7 years in the United States) and do not delete them when you delete your account, although you will no longer be able to view them on the website. Reviews you have posted may remain on the site under the name “Anonymous customer”. If you have orders that are not yet completed, you can request deletion once they are completed.

Opting out of advertising cookies: turn off advertising cookies at any time via “Cookie Setting” at the bottom of any page. This stops the browser-based advertising pixels and the server-side Conversions API events described in Section 6.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing our services, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

13. Marketing Communications

We send marketing emails only if you subscribe to our newsletter or agree to receive marketing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time on the email preferences page or by contacting us. You will still receive transactional emails about your orders and account.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, and it does not currently automatically detect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. To opt out of analytics or advertising cookies, please use “Cookie Setting” at the bottom of any page.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to legal, technical or business developments. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will notify you by a notice on the Website or by email where appropriate.
